From a craft workshop to a European screw manufacturer
Interwolf d.o.o. is a company with a long tradition in screw manufacturing. Over the decades we have developed into a reliable European partner for the series production of standard and non-standard screws.
Foundation and international partnership
The company was founded in 1992, but its beginnings go back another decade — it was built on the tradition of a craft workshop producing screws.
In 1993, Mr Karl Pilgram Rupprecht joined the company as a partner. He was the owner of Süddeutsche Schraubenfabrik (SSF) of Nuremberg, Germany, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of screws and fasteners, supplying demanding customers in the electrical industry. With the new partner, the company was renamed SSF-Interwolf d.o.o., and the partnership gave us access to this demanding market.
Growth and technological progress
The entry of the foreign partner was decisive for the company's growth and technological progress. We expanded the machine park and built our own toolshop. Alongside the increase in capacity, we invested in development and staff training and established a quality system that allows the product to be monitored at every stage of the production process. Computer-aided production ensured full traceability and control over processes from order to warehouse.
New ownership structure and name
In 1998 the German partner left the company. With the change of ownership, the company was renamed and has since operated under the name Interwolf d.o.o.
Because of growing space requirements, the company moved to a new location in Logatec in 1998. By 2004, further expansion had already made the premises too small, so the management decided to invest in new production and office premises, again in Logatec — where we still operate today.
Interwolf today
Today we employ around 40 skilled staff and produce more than 500 million screws a year. Around a quarter of production is intended for the Slovenian market and three quarters for export, with European countries accounting for the largest share.

Partnership philosophy
Interwolf's philosophy is based on creating, developing and strengthening partnerships with our customers — more than 70% of our customers build our screws directly into their own products. Drawing on our knowledge and experience, we offer them not only production but also technical advice and product adaptation, with the aim of achieving the best results for both sides.
