What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity is 100,000 pieces, both for our standard product range and for custom projects made to drawing.
What do you need to prepare a quotation?
A drawing of the screw. Based on the drawing, our technical team checks production feasibility and proposes next steps. We reply within 1–2 working days.
Where are your screws made?
In Logatec, Slovenia (EU), on 2,000 m² of production space with more than 50 machines, including 26 cold-forming presses and 15 thread-rolling machines.
What sizes can you make?
Thread diameters of 2–8 mm (M2.5–M8) and screw lengths of 4–80 mm.
What materials and property classes do you offer?
Steel screws in property classes 4.8, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9, made from materials such as C10C, C19B and C21B. For stainless versions we use A2 and A4 materials, depending on the required corrosion resistance. Other materials are possible depending on the technical requirements.
What heads, drives and threads are possible?
Various head shapes (countersunk, cheese/pan, raised and others), drives (PH, PZ, TX, slotted and others), and thread types including metric, chipboard, self-tapping and self-drilling, depending on the project and the material.
Do you make screws for plastics and wood?
Yes. We make screws for plastic housings and for wood, chipboard and other composite materials, with thread geometry adapted to the material.
How do you handle heat treatment and surface protection?
Heat treatment and surface protection are carried out with specialised external subcontractors. The most common coatings are various types of zinc plating and phosphating. After heat treatment we check hardness in-house.
Which quality system do you operate?
ISO 9001:2015. Every batch is traceable from incoming material to delivery, critical dimensions are monitored with statistical process control, and on request we provide measurement reports, material traceability and technical documentation, with support for PPAP procedures where required.
Do you offer optical sorting?
Yes, optical inspection is available on request, with a target of up to 50 ppm. We have three optical sorting machines and mechanical sorting.
Can you supply small packs or assembly kits?
Yes. We have a line for small packs and assembly kits, and we also produce screws with washers.
How is a new custom screw developed?
In five steps: feasibility analysis, tool making in our own toolshop, sample batch, customer approval (including PPAP if required) and series production.
