Screws for high-volume assembly in your products
Interwolf is a European screw manufacturer for companies that build screws into their own products in large batches. Our product range covers a wide selection of standard and non-standard screws used in many industries, such as furniture, electronic devices and household appliances, and other technical products.
Production is based on cold forming and thread rolling, which deliver high productivity, consistent quality and dimensional repeatability even in large batches. We produce more than 500 million screws a year.
Technical designs
- standard screws to DIN and ISO
- custom screws made to customer drawings
- various head shapes (countersunk, cheese/pan, raised and others)
- various drives (PH, PZ, TX, slotted and others)
- various point shapes and thread profiles
Thread types
In addition to standard metric threads, we also make self-tapping and self-drilling screws, depending on the requirements of the project and the material the screw is installed in.
Property classes
We make steel screws in property classes 4.8, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9. For stainless versions we use A2 and A4 materials, depending on the required corrosion resistance.
Materials
Other materials can also be used if needed, depending on the technical requirements of the project.
Surface protection and heat treatment
Heat treatment and surface protection are carried out in cooperation with specialised external subcontractors. The most commonly used surface coatings are various types of zinc plating, phosphating and other protective coatings.
After heat treatment we check the mechanical properties, ensuring consistent quality and compliance of the products with customer requirements.
Series production
Production at Interwolf is geared towards batches from around 100,000 to several million pieces. We have more than 50 production machines for cold forming and thread rolling. The production process is complemented by mechanical and optical sorting and by control of dimensions and mechanical properties.
