Screws with factory-assembled washers
Interwolf makes screws with washers for series production. With these screws, often called SEMS screws or Kombischrauben, the washer or combination of washers is fitted onto the screw at the factory.
A factory-assembled washer allows faster and more reliable assembly, as it reduces the number of individual components and handling steps on the assembly line.
Such solutions are particularly useful in industries where high assembly speed and process repeatability are important, such as the furniture industry, electronic devices and household appliances, and other technical products.
Standards and sizes
We make screws with washers in accordance with DIN 6900, SN 60736 and SN 60730, in sizes from M4 to M8.
Different screw and washer combinations
- screw with one washer
- screw with two washers
- combination of flat and spring washer
- different washer types to customer requirements
We adapt the combinations to the technical requirements of the project, the product design and the assembly method.
Benefits in series production
- faster assembly
- less handling of individual components
- fewer assembly errors
- a more stable, repeatable assembly process
Production
We make screws with washers as part of our standard production process of cold forming and thread rolling.
Production runs in batches, usually from around 100,000 to several million pieces, ensuring consistent quality and dimensional repeatability.
We adapt factory-assembled screw and washer combinations to customer requirements and the specifics of each application.
